Set between the Olympic Mountains and the Salish Sea, the Crescent School District honors the rich heritage,geography, and tribal cultures of our community. We provide students with an innovative learning experience built onevidence-based teaching, strong local partnerships, and highly qualified educators. Our teachers are empowered tofoster an inclusive and engaging environment, ensuring meaningful opportunities for all students to learn and thrivewithin small learning communities.
Objectives
As appropriate, use an integrated approach to teaching science, math, reading, and writing that includes at least oneoutdoor learning opportunity each year (Level 1).
Provide at least one major project-based learning opportunity for all grades by 2030 (Level 2/3). Following these stages:
Everybody gives input to identify project (ideas on what/where/how)
Planning
Doing and completing project
Support and increase learning opportunities in life-skills, practical skills and trades, art, and music (Level 2).
